Forms and personal data

Mactwin respects your privacy. Through forms on this website, Mactwin collects and processes only personal data that you have consciously provided to us. We process this personal data confidentially and always in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We collect data solely to send you the requested information, such as our newsletters and whitepapers. Your form submissions are retained for 12 months and then automatically deleted. IP addresses are retained for 3 months, after which they are anonymized. Geolocation data is retained for a period of 12 months and then anonymized. You can unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time, after which your data will be removed from our database. We use MailChimp for sending the newsletter, see below.

Mactwin uses cookies on this website. A cookie is a small text file that a website automatically offers to your browser. With cookies, we collect information about the use of this website, such as which pages you visited and the duration of your visit. You can allow or refuse the use of cookies by changing your browser settings.

Google Analytics & Leadfeeder

To quickly and easily provide our website visitors with relevant information, we collect data via Google Analytics and Leadfeeder that help optimize our website. Mactwin does this in a privacy-friendly manner. Therefore, we have not only concluded processing agreements with Google and Leadfeeder but also taken the following measures:

  • The last 3 digits of the IP address are anonymized so that visitors cannot be directly identified;
  • In Google Analytics, ‘data sharing’ is disabled, preventing data from being shared with other Google services;
  • No other Google services are used in combination with Google Analytics cookies.

Google and Leadfeeder process data in accordance with European privacy regulations and use standard contractual clauses to comply with GDPR requirements. Leadfeeder is a European company and adheres to the GDPR. For more information, we refer you to Google’s privacy policy and Leadfeeder’s privacy policy.

Newsletter and Mailchimp

For sending our email newsletter, we use MailChimp. This allows us to see how our newsletter is read and how often a particular article is clicked. We use this information to better tailor our newsletters to you. As long as your subscription lasts, your data is also known to MailChimp. Mactwin has concluded a processing agreement with MailChimp. Your right of access, correction and objection

If your personal data is processed by us, you always have the right to access, correct, and delete it. If you wish to object to the use of your personal data, you can submit a request to:
