Security Technician
Why are You Applying for this Job?
Because you have a passion for technology and you find it appealing to work with modern security techniques on a daily basis. And that’s exactly what you can do at Mactwin. We will pair you with one or more experienced technicians who will teach you the intricacies of the trade. This way, you will learn – in practice – everything about the security systems that Mactwin provides, such as camera systems, intrusion detection systems, access control systems with biometrics, and security management systems.
Our (business) client base is large and diverse. This means you will be working at industrial companies, museums, schools, and government institutions, among others. Initially, we will introduce you to our systems one by one. Later, your tasks will become more varied, and you will also work independently. One day, for example, you might be installing or commissioning a new access control system, and the next day you might be performing maintenance on an intrusion detection system. So there are plenty of challenges and variety.
A characteristic of our company culture is that you are part of a close-knit team that works together intensively and shares knowledge and experiences with each other.
What Do We Have to Offer You?
An extensive training program to become an independent security technician at a successful technical security company. Of course, this comes with an appropriate salary and excellent employment conditions, including:
- 25 vacation days and 13 ADV days
- Good pension plan
- Ample training and development opportunities
- Attention to you and your colleagues, such as staff parties, drinks, barbecues, sports activities, and gestures on special occasions. Check out our YouTube channel to get a feel for this. Every year is an adventure.
What Do We Expect from You?
- That you have completed a technical education at MBO level
- That you have your MBV diploma or are willing to obtain it
- That you are eager to learn
- That you have a passion for technology and an affinity with ICT
- That you have good communication skills
- That you have a driver’s license and preferably live in the Arnhem-Nijmegen region
* Requesting a Declaration of Reliability is a Standard Part of the Selection Procedure.
