The contract for the implementation and management of IPSecurityCenter has been signed by René Oudejans (r), CFO Gasunie and Peter de Jong, CFO Mactwin.

Mactwin delivers PSIM solution to Gasunie

Gasunie has commissioned Mactwin to design, implement and manage a Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) solution for the control and monitoring of the security systems at all its secure locations in the Netherlands; This is to replace the existing in-house developed system.
With IPSecurityCenter, CNL’s PSIM software, Gasunie manages its security risks and optimises its security.
From 2018 onwards, IPSecurityCenter will be implemented in Gasunie’s various monitoring lodges and two control rooms. The IPSecurityCenter integration and management platform converts information from all of Gasunie’s security and safety systems into visual intelligence in the form of an unambiguous picture of the situation (Common Operational Picture).
This will significantly improve the situational awareness of the operators.
The PSIM guides operators step by step through standard procedures and instructions, so that incidents, threats and crisis situations are unambiguously and quickly under control after immediate detection.
All events, activities and actions are logged, so that Gasunie can demonstrate compliance with laws and regulations, procedures and company guidelines afterwards or carry out audits.
The user-friendly interface of IPSecurityCenter, which allows operators to unambiguously operate the underlying systems, is highly valued by Gasunie.
Just like the fact that it is an open platform that can therefore be linked to almost all security systems.
IPSecurityCenter interacts with and retrieves information from various other systems, such as HRM and facility management systems and geo-information systems.
This was also an important selection criterion for Gasunie.
