The Incident Panel provides an overview of all relevant information concerning incidents in the system. This article describes how to use the Incident Panel.
Overview of the Incident Panel
By default, only active incidents are displayed in the Incident Panel. You can view the details of closed incidents by using the filter option. Below are the standard information items of the Incident Panel:
- Type: Displays the icon and number of the incident.
- Incident type: Displays the type of incident: for example, fire, accident, etc.
- Incident creation time: Displays the time and date when the incident was activated.
- Dispatcher: Displays the name of the operator who activated the incident.
- Callers: Displays the source of the incident, such as caller, responder, etc.
- Incident location: Displays the address of the incident.
- Responder status: Displays the icon of the responder’s latest response.
- SLA: Displays the Service Level Agreement (the activation, arrival, and completion time for this type of incident).
- Reports & updates: Indicates if there are updates for the incident.
- Areas/polygons: Indicates if the incident is associated with a predefined area.
- Priority: Displays the priority level of the incident.
- Dispatched: Indicates the number of responders dispatched to the incident.
- Confirmation: Indicates the number of responders who have confirmed the incident notification.
- En route: Indicates the number of responders en route to the incident.
- On site: Indicates the number of responders currently on site of the incident.
- Ready: Indicates the number of responders who have indicated that the incident is ready.
- PTT channel: Indicates if a PTT channel has been opened for the incident.
- Forms: Displays the forms associated with the incident.
- Actions: Allows you to select the columns displayed in the Incident Panel. This column also shows icons indicating the current state of the incident (Active, All done, Close incident or Cancel incident).
See an Example of the Incident Panel
Below you can see an example of the Incident Panel and which information items are displayed.

When you move your mouse over an item in the Incident Panel, the cursor changes to a hand and more information about that item appears. Also move your mouse over items in different columns to get pop-ups with more details about that item.
To see more information about a specific incident, click on the details of each incident to open a tab in the Incident window:
- Click on the Type (icon) of the incident and select Edit incident to open the Basic Details tab in the Incident window.
- Click on Dispatcher of the incident to open the Activations tab in the Assets tab in the Incident window.
- Click on Location of the incident to zoom the map to the location of the incident.
- Click on the Status icon of the incident to open the Dispatch tab in the Incident window.
- Click on one of the user states to open the Log tab in the Incident window.
- Click on the form icon to open the Form tab in the Incident window.
To view the dispatcher’s log history, move the mouse cursor over the dispatcher’s name and a pop-up with additional information will appear.

You can also filter the incidents by dispatcher by clicking on the Filter icon in the Dispatcher column.

Changing the SLA of an Incident
To change the SLA of an incident in the list, click on the SLA. A pop-up will appear where you can modify the SLA as desired.

Viewing the Status of an Incident
To see which user has arrived at each status, hover the mouse over the status. A pop-up will appear with the user’s details.

Opening and Closing Forms of an Incident
All forms of an incident can be opened via the new ‘Forms’ column in the Incident Panel. Hover over the number of forms and then click on ‘Form status’ to open the forms.
Closing or Canceling an Incident
To close or cancel an incident, the dispatcher clicks on the action icon and then selects “All ready”, “Close incident” or “Cancel incident”.

Viewing the Location of an Incident on the Map
To view the location of an incident on the map, click on the location in the ‘Locations’ column. The map will zoom in on the location of the incident.

Adding and Removing Columns to the Panel
To add or remove a column to the panel, click on the action button and choose the desired columns from the list.

Incident Panel Toolbar
The Incident Panel toolbar contains several icons:
- Click this icon to refresh the list.

- Click this icon to filter the Incident Panel.

- Enter your filter criteria and click “Search”.

- Click this icon to search for a specific incident by location or users.

- Click this icon to create a new incident.

- Click this icon to maximize the panel.

- Click this icon to minimize the panel.
