Icons in Nowforce
You can upload the following file types: ICO, GIF, JPG, or PNG. It is recommended to upload small icons, no larger than 30×30 pixels to optimize display. Any icons larger than 30×30 pixels will be automatically resized upon upload.
You can find the system icons throughout:
- Incidents
- Point of Interest
- Users
- Groups
- Equipment
- Roles
- Asset
- Unit
- Alarms
- Dynamic status
Adding Icons
- From the main screen, select Settings > ORGANIZATION and then select Icon Bank.
- Click the + sign in the upper right corner of the Icon Bank page.
- Fill in the Icon Name field.
- Click Upload Icon to select and upload the image file. The uploaded icon image will be displayed.
- Select all relevant System Categories in the System Entity field.
- Click Load Icons. A dialog box will open with the file explorer.
- Choose the file(s) you want to upload and click Open. The files will be uploaded to the Icon Bank.
- Finally, click Finish. The Icon Bank table will open with icons in alphabetical order.
Managing Icons
The Search by Name option is located at the top right of the icon bank. You can use it to search for individual icons by name.
Search by Name:
- Click the magnifying glass icon.
- The Icon Bank search window will open.
