A major advantage of a unified system is that it consists of one software package and one interface. Therefore, you only need to master that software. In case of an incident, the operator gets a comprehensive view of the situation. They are fully situationally aware and can therefore follow up on the incident quickly and effectively. A unified system can also establish connections between events from different system components. This allows false alarms to be filtered out and provides faster insight into an event. When using the app (which offers almost the same capabilities), security managers can also be notified of the situation via their mobile devices. <\/p>\n<\/div>

Always up-to-date and cost-effective<\/h3>\n

The management and maintenance of unified systems is simple and cost-efficient. The overarching software and all underlying packages connected to the same system can be updated or upgraded at once. In comparison: with integrated solutions, updates and upgrades must be implemented in all individual systems. Thanks to centralized management and maintenance, you also ensure the continuity of the underlying systems and have the certainty that the systems still communicate properly with each other after an update or upgrade. This often leaves much to be desired with an integrated solution. Finally, an additional advantage is that the (single) maintenance contract for unified solutions is very straightforward. <\/p>\n

Thanks to the mentioned efficiency advantages, the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of unified systems is favorable, especially in the long term. When you have existing systems, it might seem logical to integrate these via an overarching integration platform.
